As is usually the case when Raw does well in the ratings, SmackDown followed suit, posting its strongest number in over a month.
The show pulled an average of 2.281 million viewers, up significantly from last week’s disastrous 1.977 million. The number marked a 15% increased on the previous show.
Don’t break out the champagne just yet though because compared to last year’s equivalent show it was way down, from 2.578 million.
The next two weeks are a write off because they take place on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, so little attention will be paid to those numbers.
