WWE Star’s New Name Confirmed

WWE Star’s New Name Confirmed WWE

A WWE star’s new name has been confirmed with another NXT talent receiving their official name before debuting on TV.

Lucky Ali was one of the several indie talents who joined WWE’s developmental brand at the start of the year, and he’d been working untelevised live events under that name.

However, that has now changed.

Per PWInsider‘s results from the show in Dade City on Friday, March 1, Lucky Ali worked under the name Saquon Shugars, which we’d recently reported WWE has trademarked.

Shugars teamed with Joshua Black to take on Edris Enofe and Malik Blade, however the team was not successful as Edris Enofe and Malik Blade picked up the win.

There were two championship bouts at the house show, with NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria defeating Lola Vice as well as NXT North American Champion Oba Femi defeating Josh Briggs to retain their titles.

Elsewhere on the show, Izzi Dame & Kiana James defeated Breanna Covington & Brinley Reece, Luca Crusifino defeated Kale Dixon, Tank Ledger, Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe defeated OTM, Lexis King beat Beau Morris, Brooks Jensen beat Je’Von Evans, Charlie Dempsey beat Riley Osborne, and Kelani Jordan & Sol Ruca defeated Stevie Turner & Blair Davenport.

Crusifino seems to be on the verge of joining an existing NXT stable, if recent events are any indication.
