Following his departure from New Japan Pro Wrestling, a new report has confirmed that Hikuleo has signed with WWE.
At NJPW Dominion, TMDK defeated Bishamon, Bullet Club’s KENTA & Chase Owens and the Guerrilla of Destiny’s El Phantasmo and Hikuleo to win the IWGP World Tag Team and NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Championships.
After being eliminated from the bout, Hikuleo walked out on his tag team partner ELP and manager Jado.
After the show, Fightful reported that the former Bullet Club member’s deal with NJPW was up in June and he was expected to leave the company to join WWE.
Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update, noting that WWE sources have confirmed Hikuleo had signed with the company.
The report notes that there is no start date confirmed for the former IWGP World Tag Team Champion.
Hikuleo will join his brothers and Bloodline members Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa in WWE, who also signed deals with the promotion in 2024.
WrestleTalk will provide any further updates on Hikuleo’s WWE status when they become available.
