A WWE star has discussed their tag team and future plans following the recent main roster call-up from NXT.
Having been called up to the main roster in November last year, Lash Legend has formed an alliance with Nia Jax.
The partnership has seen Jax and Legend in a Triple Threat match to determine the number one contenders for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, with the pairing losing out to Giulia and Kiana James in January of this year.
Nia Jax has now revealed that the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship is very much in their future, having been a two-time champion previously.
Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Jax made her intentions clear, referring to her new tag team partner as a “true badass”, saying:
“With my current amazing tag partner, Lash Legend, we are definitely going for those tag titles.
“I had them with Shayna (Baszler), and I didn’t think we got that opportunity because it was during COVID. But now I feel as though you’ve never seen this kind of tag-team in the women’s division, ever.
“Look at us, two big girls, she’s an ex-WNBA player. She is one of the strongest women I’ve ever met, one of the kindest, and a true badass. So I definitely want us to take those tag titles.

Signed in 2020, Legend was previously a member of The Meta-Four in NXT and is yet to hold a championship in WWE.
Along with being a two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, Nia Jax is a former two-time WWE Women’s Champion.
Jax would also reveal that an impromptu COVID-era comment of “my hole” saw WWE come close to releasing merchandise.
