WWE Name Shares Honest Thoughts On Nikki Bella Character Change WWE

A WWE name has shared their honest thoughts on Nikki Bella’s character change after she turned heel on Monday Night Raw.

The November 10 episode of WWE Raw saw Bella attack Stephanie Vaquer, holding the WWE Women’s World Champion above her head after laying out her now former friend.

Marking a shift in tone for the ‘Fearless’ one, Big E has shared a hope that WWE fans will see a more ruthless tone to the Hall of Famer.

Speaking on Raw Recap, Big E initially praised Bella for her most recent return before sharing his thoughts on the direction of her heel turn, saying:

“Her giving her flowers to the current generation is beautiful to see, but I don’t want to see a Nikki Bella who is just bigging up the younger folks and is saying ‘you’re doing a great job and I’m here to be your friend.’ I want to see a Nikki Bella who is going after world titles. I want to see a Nikki Bella who is ruthless.

“That’s the Nikki that we came to know and love; that’s the Nikki from a decade ago who was on top, someone who was going to do whatever it took to be at the top of the industry. This version of her, I’m excited to see.

“That’s the problem with friendships in WWE, anytime people come together and they’re friendly for a bit, I’m just counting down the days until it eventually implodes.

“Look, it took 10 years for our friendships to implode in the New Day, but eventually it happens. I think this is a great trajectory for Nikki, I’m excited to see what unfolds for her. A more ruthless, more focused, more ‘Hey I’m willing to do whatever it takes to get that title’ version of Nikki, yeah, I’m here for it.”

Back in December of last year, New Day celebrated their ten-year anniversary on WWE Raw, with Big E being cast out of the group.

With Nikki Bella now established as a heel, Paige (formerly Saraya in AEW) has also reacted to the shift.
