WWE Not Planning Brock Lesnar Match For Raw Star

A current champion has revealed whether the much theorised match between him and the Brock Lesnar will happen anytime soon.

Since Bobby Lashley’s WWE return in 2018, there have been rumours that The Almighty would face off with Brock Lesnar. As of 2021, Lashley and Lesnar have never shared the ring, prompting fans to wonder when this dream match will happen.

According to Lashley, not anytime soon. Appearing on Busted Open Radio, the current US Champion revealed that he’s been informed multiple times that he’s not going to face The Beast Incarnate.

Admitting he’s entertained the idea, The Almighty noted that he’s not sure why there is reluctance surrounding this fantasy match-up. Bobby Lashley did reveal that he would like to renew his rivalry with Braun Strowman.

“I like the Brock match up. I’ve heard it is not happening several times. I don’t know why. Whatever the case is, maybe he’s not coming back. Maybe he has other focuses in the company. I don’t know. I like the matchup. Another person I would like to tangle back with is Braun (Strowman). Braun’s always a huge deal and he’s one person that can disrupt a little bit of stuff in The Hurt Business and I loved fighting him the first time.”

Bobby Lashley was also asked out of Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns, who he’d choose to face if he won the Royal Rumble match.

Keeping his cards close to his chest, The Almighty didn’t show a preference between facing the WWE Champion or Universal titleholder at WrestleMania.

Bobby Lashley enters the 2021 Royal Rumble match this Sunday, a bout which may reveal Lashley’s plans for WrestleMania 37.
