There were reportedly plans for NWO to make an appearance during WrestleMania 38 weekend.
Fightful Select (subscription required), had learned, ahead of Scott Hall’s passing, a promotional spot for WWE 2K22 planned for that weekend was originally set to feature Hall and other members of the faction.
The NWO were notably the cover stars for the deluxe ‘NWO 4 Life’ edition of the game.
Fightful is uncertain whether WWE plans to run a spot featuring the other faction-members during WrestleMania 38 week.
Hall passed away on March 14, taken off life support after suffering several heart attacks following hip surgery.
WrestleMania 38 takes place across two nights, emanating from the AT&T Stadium on April 2&3.
