Tonight’s special Heatwave edition of NXT 2.0 is set to be a good one with numerous exciting matches on the card, and now a new tease from the scoop meisters at Fightful Select. 

Fightful was told that tonight’s special Heatwave edition of NXT 2.0 was set “to be newsworthy” as well as a tease for what is to come for the future.

According to the report, “several wheels were in motion,” already towards changing the current NXT 2.0 product.

They were also told that “a lot of things are being settled” in regards to not only who will continue to appear on NXT 2.0 but who will move up to the main roster.

Additionally, amongst the noise a tidbit on the future for some NXT UK stars as it is being reported that Tyler Bate is being discussed internally.

While Bate hasn’t been seen wrestling since April, he as well as several other names, have reportedly been brought up in regards to moving towards being featured on NXT 2.0.

Will it still be NXT 2.0? Are we returning to a simply NXT era now that Triple H is at the helm of creative for WWE?
