The viewership figures for the November 6 editions of WWE NXT and AEW Dynamite have been revealed, following this WWE vs NXT head-to-head.
We received an encore from the ‘Wednesday Night Wars’ this week, with NXT moving to Wednesday night for one week only.
Both shows were eventful, with NXT notably having an ECW theme with the show emanating from the 2300 arena.
We now have viewership figures for both shows, per Programming Insider.
Wednesday’s edition of WWE NXT achieved 619,000 million viewers, which was higher that Dynamite’s 523,000 million viewership figure.
WWE NXT also had a marginally better 18-49 key demographic score, with NXT’s number being 0.17, and Dynamite ultimately receiving a 0.16 score.
A number of notable former ECW names appeared on NXT, with the Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley reuniting following Bubba Ray Dudley & Trick Williams vs Ridge Holland and Ethan Page.
The likes of Nunzio, Rob Van Dam, Rhyno and Dawn Marie also appeared on the show, with Nunzio notably challenging for Tony D’Angelo’s North American Championship.
AEW Dynamite was headlined by a big tag-team match, with Ricochet revealing that the returning Powerhouse Hobbs was his mystery partner against Kyle Fletcher and AEW International Champion Konosuke Takeshita.
Other matches that took place included Adam Cole vs Malakai Black, with Cole scoring a victory over the House of Black member.
