WWE NXT First Ever Viewership On CW Network Revealed WWE

After a big debut on The CW network for WWE NXT, more details have been revealed regarding how many fans made the jump for the episode.

With WWE NXT moving from the USA Network to The CW for the debut last night (October 1) of the show, it seems that fans were able to follow along with the change.

The show boasted an impressive viewership figure of 895,000 viewers including a 0.26 rating in advertisers’ targeted 18 – 49 year old demographic.

Taking to Twitter to announce the impressive figure, Shawn Michaels wrote:

“895,000 viewers tuned in to the NXT debut on The CW – our best numbers in a year. Great start. See you next week live from St. Louis!”

According to a report from Deadline

“NXT secured 895,000 total viewers, up 44% compared to last week’s episode, which was the last on USA Network. The episode peaked with 965,000 total viewers from 8:15 to 8:30 p.m. ET.”

The debut edition of NXT on The CW featured the return of Cora Jade as well as a big title change to close out the show as Trick Williams defeated Ethan Page.
