Major Change To WWE NXT On The CW Revealed?

Ahead of their move in October, a new report has revealed major changes to WWE NXT on The CW Network.

The October 1 edition of WWE NXT will be the launch episode for the program on The CW Network.

Already announced for the show emanating from Chicago, CM Punk will appear, Giulia will challenge Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship.

Ethan Page will defend the NXT Championship against Trick Williams, while main roster stars The Miz and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill will also appear.

Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update, noting that WWE NXT will have less flexibility on the ending of the program when they make the move to The CW.

NXT regularly goes past 10 p.m. eastern for the end of the show, but that is expected to likely stop with the move to The CW Network.

WWE sources feel like they can do their highest numbers in about a year since they loaded up a show going head-to-head with a Tuesday edition of AEW Dynamite.
