Ahead of the October 1 episode, the opening match for the WWE NXT CW Network premiere show has been announced.
After weeks of hype and anticipation, WWE NXT is just mere days away from their CW Network premiere from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, IL.
The show will feature two big title matches and various WWE main roster stars set to appear on the program.
On September 27, the company announced that Roxanne Perez defending the NXT Women’s Championship against Giulia will open next Tuesday’s show from Chicago.
Giulia made her WWE debut at NXT No Mercy and confronted Perez to set the stage for their big showdown for the title.
On the September 24 episode of WWE NXT, the two women took part in an in-arena press conference that was interrupted by former CMLL World Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer.
Also announced for the October 1 episode, Ethan Page will defend the NXT Championship against Trick Williams with CM Punk as special guest referee and Wes Lee will face Zachary Wentz in a Street Fight.
