Ahead of next Tuesday’s edition of NXT, WWE announced that a brand new number one contender for the new WWE NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes will be named.
To determine who will face Hayes in his first title defence a four-way was announced to be taking place on Tuesday’s NXT, and now we know the first of the four names who will take part is.
WWE would announce via the NXT Twitter account that the first participant will be none other than their newest high-profile recruit, Dragon Lee.

The future title match will feature on NXT’s Spring Breakin’ show which as of yet does not have a date.
Also potentially a name that could be included is the former NXT Champion Bron Breakker who would shockingly turn heel on the post-Stand & Deliver episode of NXT, attacking both Hayes and Trick Williams.
While Breakker was rumored to be on the verge of a main roster call-up, his future seems to lie in NXT for now.
Breakker is featured on the poster for NXT’s next major Premium Live Event NXT: Battleground on the 28 May, seemingly suggesting this to be the case.
