WWE are said to be ‘high’ on three current NXT stars, with them expected for a call up in the coming months.
Last night’s episode of WWE NXT ended with the surprise return of former NXT Tag Team Champions Gallus.
The trio of Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey and Wolfgang attacked Noam Dar backstage, as well as as Wes Lee, Josh Briggs and Ivar to close out the show.
Gallus had been off NXT television since March, but had been training The Rock ahead of his return to the ring at WrestleMania 40.
Prior to the 2024 WWE Draft, there were reportedly a lot of discussions for Gallus to be called up in the Draft, which ultimately didn’t end up happening.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Gallus were heavily discussed to head up to the main roster, with officials said to be high on them.
However, the group are still expected by those that spoke to Fightful to be called up to the main roster in the coming months.
Joe Coffey has broken his silence on his surprise return to close NXT, which you can see here.
