Two NXT Stars Reportedly Backstage At May 29 WWE Raw WWE

NXT Battleground and WWE Night of Champions are both in the record books with tonight’s WWE Raw taking place in Albany, NY.

Following the big weekend of WWE wrestling, a report has emerged that two members of the NXT roster are backstage at WWE Raw.

According to PW Insider, Kevin Ventura-Cortes and Javier Bernal are both backstage at the MVP Arena in Albany.

Ventura-Cortes is a WWE NXT trainee who has not yet made his television debut having signed with WWE after the SummerSlam 2022 tryouts.

He reported to the WWE Performance Center in the fall of 2022 and shared a video of being accepted onto the WWE developmental program on social media which can be seen below this news story.

The former college footballer was a prospect for the NFL Draft in 2022.

Javier Bernal has consistently appeared on WWE television, appearing on NXT Level Up and WWE NXT after making his debut on WWE 205 Live in January 2022.

UPDATE: Bernal and Ventura-Cortes wrestled on Raw, losing a quick squash match against Indus-Sher.

NXT Battleground took place over Memorial Day weekend with the next stop for the brand being WWE NXT Bash at the Beach on July 30 2023.
