A Joe Hendry concert tonight on tonight’s July 31 WWE NXT would set up a match for week two of the Great American Bash next week.

Joe Hendry delivered on his promise to bring his signature in-ring concert to WWE NXT tonight although it didn’t end as well as it began.

Beginning the segment already in the ring, the NXT crowd was still very excited to sing TNA Wrestling star Joe Hendry’s signature theme song.

However the singing wouldn’t end there as Hendry gave an amusing ‘concert’, singing a song about Gallus.

Amongst the hilarious lyrics with accompanying graphics on the tron, Hendry said that Booker T was his biggest fan, playing off the fact that Booker has been critical of Hendry on commentary recently.

Hendry also called Joe Coffey ‘the son of Dutch Mantell’, showing a side by side comparison of their looks and finally going on to sing the chorus.

The chorus would say that Gallus was “deported” from Scotland because of their terrible facial hair.

For his encore, Hendry would attempt to play his own theme song but was rudely interrupted by the aforementioned Gallus.

Gallus came to the ring and eventually the action would get physical as the trio of Joe & Mark Coffey and Wolfgang attacked Hendry.

Ending with cracking his own guitar over his back, Gallus stood tall over Joe Hendry as their feud is clearly not yet over.

Later in the parking lot, cameras caught up with Hendry who said that he was excited about tonight’s concert and Gallus had to ruin it.

Saying that they are driven by jealousy, Joe Coffey is at the wheel – Hendry pledged to “kick Joe Coffey’s ass and force Gallus to believe in Joe Hendry”.

The match between Hendry and Joe Coffey was later made official via a match graphic for the week two edition of NXT Great American Bash on August 6.

Elsewhere on tonight’s WWE NXT, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn retained the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Meta-Four’s Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend which confirmed an upcoming SummerSlam weekend match.
