NXT Champion Issues Challenge To WWE Main Roster Stars

NXT North American Champion Oba Femi has issued an interesting challenge to the WWE main roster.

Since winning the North American Championship January, Oba Femi has established himself as one of the developmental brand’s most dominant stars.

Femi has even defeated main roster stars during his title reign, defending his gold against Otis on Tuesday’s (August 13) edition of NXT.

The North American Champion could soon find himself standing across the ring from more Raw or SmackDown names, with Femi issuing a challenge to anyone from NXT and the main roster.

During a video shared by WWE NXT’s Instagram account after the show, Oba Femi said:

“Another successful title defence. With all due respect to Otis, he couldn’t get the job done tonight.

“I challenge anyone from NXT and anyone from the main roster to come here and give me a challenge, because if Otis couldn’t do it, I don’t think anyone can.”

Femi has faced off against several names who have been on the main roster, including Donovan Dijak, Ridge Holland and Ivar.
