At tonight’s WWE NXT No Mercy 2024 event, a TNA Wrestling star has picked up a big victory over the NXT talent in a singles match.
At the NXT No Mercy premium live event, there was a match between former tag team partners as NXT star Wes Lee took on Zachary Wentz from TNA Wrestling.
This past Friday, Wentz picked up the TNA Wrestling X-Division Championship which he brought to the ring with him for his entrance, although the title wasn’t on the line in the match.
In what was an emotional match, it would come down to a win for Zachary Wentz after a little bit of help from fellow Rascalz member who was also turned on by Wes Lee, Trey Miguel.
You can see the match finish in the video below.
While the TNA Wrestling stars appearing on NXT has no longer become novel, one thing was unique about Zachary Wentz picking up the singles victory over Wes Lee.
In a singles match which saw an NXT star against a TNA Wrestling star, the TNA star won at a premium live event.
Later in the night, another TNA star will attempt to pick up a win in the NXT Championship match.
‘All Ego’ Ethan Page looks to defend his NXT World Championship against TNA’s Joe Hendry in the NXT No Mercy 2024 main event tonight.
