WWE #1 Contender’s Match Announced

Ahead of the June 25 NXT, several main roster WWE stars have been announced for the NXT Tag Team Titles #1 contender’s match.

On the June 18 edition of WWE NXT, NXT Tag Team Champion Nathan Frazer took part in the 25-man NXT Championship number one contender’s battle royal that was won by Je’Von Evans.

Later in the show, Axiom revealed that there will be a Tag Team Turmoil to determine new number one contenders on the June 25 episode.

On June 23, several main roster stars were announced for the number contender’s Tag Team Turmoil. The post reads:

Who will become the new No. 1 Contenders to the NXT Tag Titles when Tag Team Turmoil goes down THIS TUESDAY on #WWENXT?

The O.C.’s Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows, Legado Del Fantasma’s Angel and Berto, and New Catch Republic were revealed to take part in the match.

The other two duos are Chase U’s Andre Chase and Duke Hudson as well as Edris Enofe and Malik Blade of the NXT brand.

The winner of the Tag Team Turmoil will face Frazer and Axiom for the NXT Tag Team Championships on Sunday, July 7 at Heatwave.
