New WWE Signing Makes Debut

New WWE Signing Makes Debut WWE

A recent WWE signing who previously attended a tryout made her debut for the company as a referee at a show this weekend.

It was reported in late-September that that Victoria D’Errico had signed with WWE, and would serve as a referee on the WWE NXT brand.

D’Errico was hired by the company after attending the WWE tryouts during WrestleMania 41 week in April.

The company’s newest referee made her WWE debut during Saturday’s (November 2) NXT house show in Orlando.

NXT’s Head Referee Adrian Butler (Darryl Sharma) shared a photo with Vicky ahead of this show, introducing her as his trainee.

He wrote:

Tonight’s #WWENXT live event in Orlando will see the debut of my latest signee – Vicky D’Errico. Vicky was recruited for our WrestleMania Tryouts in Philly, and started her training in Sept.

Please give a warm welcome to the former Rough N Rowdy boxing champion @vickyderrico!

D’Errico has a background in boxing, with the Providence College School of Business graduate previously holding the RNR Women’s Lightweight Championship.

An interesting alliance was teased following Saturday’s NXT house show, which you can read more about right here.
