A WWE NXT star has reacted to his tag-team partner’s SmackDown appearance, stating that he wasn’t invited to the show.
The March 14 SmackDown episode saw World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER introduce Axiom as his opponent for that evening.
While the NXT Tag Team Champion ultimately came up short, he had an impressive showing in the match, which took place in his home country of Spain.
Axiom’s NXT Tag Team Championship partner Nathan Frazer has now commented on Axiom’s appearance, noting that he’s proud of his friend.
Noting that he would’ve liked an invite to WWE SmackDown, Frazer tweeted:
Proud of you amigo.
…would have been nice to get the invite though
Frazer doubled down on saying he didn’t receive an invite in another tweet, responding to a user who stated that he should’ve saved Axiom writing:
I WOULD HAVE BUT I WASN’T INVITED
Axiom replied to this message, noting:
Dude… I was trying to CALL you
While Fraxiom have been dominant as NXT Tag Team Champions, they lost their most recent tag match together, unsuccessfully challenging for Matt & Jeff Hardy’s TNA Tag Team Championship at the March 11 WWE NXT Roadblock special.
Their most recent televised NXT Tag Team Title defence saw them defeat Josh Briggs & Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Yoshiki Inamura at NXT Vengeance Day on February 15.
In conclusion… Fraxiom is fine.
