Major Spoiler On TNA Wrestling Star To Appear On WWE NXT WWE/TNA

Ahead of tonight’s show, a new report has revealed a major spoiler on TNA Wrestling star Hammerstone to appear on WWE NXT.

At NXT No Mercy, Oba Femi defeated Tony D’Angelo to retain the NXT North American Championship. On the September 3 edition of WWE NXT, the rivalry continued with Femi disrespecting D’Angelo family member Adriana Rizzo and defeating Stacks in singles action.

On September 9, the NXT Anonymous Twitter/X account posted a video with D’Angelo talking to a mysterious figure and paying him off with an envelope.

Tony D remarked that he had put a little extra in the envelope in hopes that his problems with Oba would be “taken care of.”

Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update, noting that TNA Wrestling star Hammerstone is currently at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida ahead of the September 10 episode of NXT.

The report notes that Hammerstone and NXT North American Champion Oba Femi were seen rehearsing before tonight’s broadcast.

This seems to indicate that Hammerstone will be the latest star involved in the WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling partnership.

Tonight’s September 10 episode will also feature TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace having an open challenge for her title.

Meanwhile, Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel of The Rascalz were originally scheduled to challenge Axiom and Nathan Frazer for the NXT Tag Team Championships on the show.

However, NXT GM Ava announced on September 9 that the duo would not appear on the episode and would instead be replaced by SmackDown stars The Street Profits.

WrestleTalk will provide any further updates on tonight’s WWE NXT when they become available.
