NXT Spring Breakin’ hits the USA Network on Tuesday, April 25 and the full show card has now been confirmed.
Broadcast live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida the special edition of NXT will see championships defended and the first ever Trunk Match.
The official WWE website has provided a breakdown of what fans can expect from the evening.
The NXT Championship will be on the line as current champion Carmelo Hayes faces the challenger Grayson Waller.
Indi Hartwell will defend her NXT Women’s Title against Roxanne Perez and Tiffany Stratton in a Triple Threat Match.
Stratton has recently discussed her experiences at the WWE Performance Center.
In a first-time-ever stipulation match, Tony D’Angelo & Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo will take on Elton Prince & Kit Wilson as The Family go head to head with Pretty Deadly in a Trunk Match.
The WWE website confirms that the Trunk Match will only end when one team puts their opponents in the trunk of a car to score the victory.
This could end up being the way Pretty Deadly are written out of NXT ahead of a potential call-up in the WWE Draft.
Elsewhere on the card, Lyra Valkyria faces Cora Jade, Fallon Henley & Josh Briggs take on their former friends Brooks Jensen and Kiana James in a mixed tag team match, and Bron Breakker will face Chase U’s Andre Chase.
Not listed on WWE.com but announced last week and promoted on social media, Oba Femi, who has wrestled numerous times on NXT Level Up, will make his NXT TV debut tonight as well.
With the WWE Draft fast approaching, a number of NXT roster members have been rumored to be on the list for a main roster call up, including the recent additions to the rumored list of Cora Jade and Joe Gacy.
