Championship Match Set For WWE NXT In St. Louis?

Ahead of the September 17 episode, a championship match seems to have been set for the October 8 WWE NXT in St. Louis.

The October 1 edition of WWE NXT will take place from the Allstate Arena in Chicago and will serve as the launch episode on The CW Network.

Then the following week, NXT will take place from Chesterfield, Missouri with Randy Orton appearing in his home state.

On the September 9 episode of WWE NXT, The Bloodline’s Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa jumped Street Profits and NXT Tag Team Champions Axiom & Nathan Frazer.

On September 17, Grayson Waller posted a video of himself and Austin Theory talking about The Bloodline’s attack on Axiom and Nathan Frazer on last week’s show.

A Town Down Under then issued a challenge to the NXT Tag Team Champions and stated they will formally challenge them on the September 24 episode on a new edition of the Grayson Waller Effect.

The October 1 WWE NXT will feature CM Punk appearing in his hometown, Giulia challenging Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship and Ethan Page defending the NXT Championship against Trick Williams.
