WWE To Make History Over WrestleMania Weekend

WWE To Make History Over WrestleMania Weekend WWE

History will be made during WrestleMania weekend in a single WWE match that is set to take place on April 1.

Plenty of history has been made recently for WWE, with Bianca Belair hitting a history-making milestone for a single championship reign in the company, Royal Rumble being the highest-grossing and most-watched Royal Rumble in company history and IYO SKY & Dakota Kai becoming the first women to win a championship while wrestling on a premium live event in Saudi Arabia among the numerous recent entries.

On April 1, NXT Stand and Deliver takes place and will feature another record-breaking moment for the company.

As reported by Inside The Ropes, Bron Breakker faces Carmelo Hayes for the NXT Championship, with ITR noting:

“The main event will be historic due to the ages of each of the competitors in the match. With Breakker being 25 years old and Hayes being 28 years old, this will be the youngest main event hosted by the company over WrestleMania weekend.”

The match contract was signed on the March 14 episode of WWE NXT in a verbal confrontation between Breakker and Hayes overseen by Elton Prince and Kit Wilson of Pretty Deadly.

Hayes would refer to the “youngest main event in WrestleMania main event history” during the exchange, footage of which can be seen below this news story.

To end the otherwise cordial exchange, Pretty Deadly demanded drama from the contract signing and certainly got what they asked for.
