It’s being reported that a WWE NXT star missed this past Wednesday’s episode of the show due to recovering from an injury.
Notable by his absent on Wednesday was Bobby Fish, who did not appear in the ring to celebrate with fellow Undisputed Era members Kyle O’Reilly, Adam Cole and Roderick Strong after O’Reilly was crowned #1 contender for the NXT Title.
As per the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Fish’s absence was due to a minor knee injury he had sustained doing kickboxing training.
Fish & Strong do have a match upcoming but no date was announced. On Wednesday’s show, Strong (representing he and Fish) teamed with Danny Burch (representing he and Oney Lorcan) to beat Raul Mendoza (representing he and Joaquin Wilde) & Fabian Aichner (representing he and Marcel Barthel), with the wining team then having a match against each other with their actual partners, to determine the next #1 contenders.
It wasn’t confirmed when the Strong & Fish vs Burch & Lorcan will be, nor when the winning team would get their title shot.
Although it was said to be a minor injury, we at WrestleTalk.com do wish Fish a safe recovery.
