WWE NXT Star To Make SmackDown Appearance?

A WWE NXT star could be potentially set to make an appearance on tomorrow night’s SmackDown in Barcelona, Spain (March 14).

Kicking off WWE’s huge Road to WrestleMania 41 European tour, SmackDown takes over the Olimpic Arena in Barcelona tomorrow night before dates in Dortmund and Hannover, Germany over the weekend and WWE Raw in Brussels, Belgium on Monday (March 17).

Ahead of SmackDown, Spanish promotion Lucha Libre Rebelión hosted an event in Barcelona on Thursday, March 13, a show that would see a surprise appearance by none other than WWE NXT star Axiom (see below).

Given the appearance was a homecoming for the Madrid born star, it was fitting that he appeared without his mask and under the A-Kid name, of which he competed as throughout much of the 2010s on the Spanish independent scene.

While nothing has been confirmed by WWE, Axiom’s appearance in Barcelona has naturally increased speculation that he could perhaps also be set to appear on SmackDown tomorrow night.

If Axiom did appear on SmackDown it would only be his second appearance on the blue brand of his career, having previously competed against Dragon Lee on the November 17, 2023 episode.

Axiom’s trip back home comes just days after he and WWE NXT Tag Team Championship co-holder Nathan Frazer unsuccessfully challenged The Hardy Boyz for the TNA World Tag Team Championships at WWE Roadblock on Tuesday (March 11).
