A rather popular member of the WWE NXT roster was reportedly supposed to make their main roster call-up earlier on this months.
It was reported after New Year’s Evil on December 6 that Rhea Ripley was done with NXT and would be heading up to the main roster, but we have yet to see the Australian on either Raw or SmackDown since then.
Speaking on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that Rhea Ripley was set to debut on the main roster a few weeks ago, but a decision was made to postpone it:
“Rhea Ripley is on the main roster. She was gonna debut a couple of weeks ago but they put it off for a couple of weeks. A couple of weeks is now.”

A great time to have Rhea Ripley officially arrive on the main roster would be as part of the women’s Royal Rumble match, so we could just be a few days away from seeing the former NXT Champion on Raw or SmackDown.
As of right now, there is no word on why WWE made the decision to postpone the debut of Rhea Ripley on the main roster that was originally planned for this month. For additional information on the matter, make sure you stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com.
