Backstage Reaction To Tatum Paxley WWE NXT Battle Royal Win

New WWE footage has revealed the backstage reaction to Tatum Paxley winning the NXT Women’s Championship #1 contender’s battle royal.

Paxley won this #1 contender’s match in the main event of the October 14 edition of NXT, side-stepping Jordynne Grace and Izzi Dame so they eliminated each other in the final moments of the bout.

The show went off the air with Paxley celebrating in the ring alongside WWE Raw star Lyra Valkyria.

The WWE NXT Twitter account has now shared footage of what happened immediately after Tatum Paxley returned to the backstage area.

In the video – which you can view below – Paxley is greeted by huge cheers. Shawn Michaels is the first to approach Paxley, hugging her and saying:

“Excellent job, that was awesome, awesome job. Thank you so much, it was tremendous.”

Shawn Michaels also shook hands with and thanked Lyra Valkyria.

Tatum Paxley will challenge for Jacy Jayne’s NXT Women’s Championship at the Halloween Havoc special on October 25.
