NXT Star Recalls Training With WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event Opponent

Ahead of their upcoming match at Saturday Night’s Main Event, an NXT star has recalled training with their opponent.

Bayley is set to face NXT’s Sol Ruca at the upcoming event that will also feature John Cena’s final match in his WWE career.

A former NXT Women’s North American Champion, Ruca recently shared her thoughts on Bayley with Fox News.

Ruca, who signed with WWE in 2022, would reveal that she had a class with Bayley, saying she was “realy open to letting us learn”, explaining:

“She’s definitely been around the (WWE Performance Center) a few times.

“I think when I was really, really new to it, she hopped into a class with us and we got to wrestle around with her, and I’ve seen her in the locker room a few times, like being up on Raw and SmackDown recently.

“She’s really nice, and she’s really open to letting us learn and just being a good role model.”

Bayley recently led her three-day Lodestone wrestling seminar, with Natalya also sharing her praise for the star.

Looking towards her own future plans, Bayley has previously suggested that she sees herself as a coach.
