Some bad news for WWE, as the viewership for last night’s episode of NXT on the USA Network is down compared to last week, with the 18-49 demographic figure continuing to drop.
Per ShowBuzz Daily, NXT last night brought in 697,000 viewers, which is down by 64,000 viewers from last week’s show. This week’s figure is the lowest since WWE moved the show off Wednesday nights.
This week’s show brought in a 0.17 rating in the 18-49 demographic, down from the 0.18 figure last week.
This will be rather disappointing, especially considering NXT had two big title matches on the show, with KUSHIDA retaining his Cruiserweight title against Santos Escobar in a two out of three falls match in the main event.
The show also saw Raquel Gonzalez make her first defence of the NXT Women’s Championship, defeating former RETRIBUTION member Mercedes Martinez in another good match.
While the viewership has fluctuated since NXT moved onto Tuesday night’s, the all-important 18-49 demographic rating has been declining since the April 20 show, which will be worrying for WWE.
