The overnight viewership figures for this week’s episode of NXT (July 13), featuring Karrion Kross vs Johnny Gargano, have been revealed.
As per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, this week’s episode of NXT drew an average of NXT drew 705,000 viewers. This is a significant increase from last week’s 654,000 viewers.
In the 18-49 demographic, the July 13 show drew a 0.19 rating. This is also up compared to last week’s 0.18 score.
On Tuesday’s show, Kross pinned Gargano to retain his NXT Championship after a hard-fought match. Following the bout, Kross attacked the special guest referee Samoa Joe, choking William Regal’s enforcer out. As of writing, the YouTube clip featuring this angle has over 289,000 views.
The most viewed video from last night’s show was an exclusive clip of Samoa Joe recovering from the ambush, before picking up steel steps and running backstage. “Samoa Joe goes hunting for Karrion Kross” has been watched over 600,000 times.
Also on NXT, Mandy Rose made a surprise return to The Gold Brand. It has been reported that Aliyah will debut on the main roster soon, as part of the exchange.
