WWE NXT Viewership For June 22 Revealed

The viewership figures for the June 22 episode of NXT, featuring the arrival of The Diamond Mine, have been revealed.

During Tuesday’s episode of NXT, Roderick Strong returned to the brand attacking Cruiserweight Champion Kushida. He was flanked by Tyler Rust and Hideki Suzuki, before Malcolm Bivens declared that The Diamond Mine was now open.

As per PWTorch, Tuesday night’s show drew an average of 665,000 viewers, which is down from the 695,000 figure that last week’s show brought in.

In the all important 18-49 demographic, this week’s episode scored 0.17, down from last week’s 0.19 rating.

On last week’s show, Samoa Joe returned to NXT after being released by WWE in April. Acting as an enforcer for NXT General Manager William Regal, Joe choked out Adam Cole on last week’s show.

This week, Joe and NXT Champion Karrion Kross had another heated confrontation. Kross was recently backstage for SmackDown and Raw, with Scarlett Boudeaux and Kross reportedly having separate main-roster try-outs.

The main event of this week’s show saw Kyle O’Reilly defeat  Kushida in non-title action. Kushida has revealed that in 2017, he considered retirement after every match.
