A current WWE Champion is awaiting the debut of two signed stars, both of whom have been under contract for several months.
Oba Femi revealed the names of the two stars as he considered his standing as NXT Champion.
Speaking on the No Content Wrestling Podcast, Femi noted that its for the NXT roster to stand up to the champion before namedropping Hikuleo.
Hikuleo reported signed with WWE in July 2024, although is yet to make his in-ring debut as we rapidly approach the first-year anniversary of his signing.
Addressing the possibility of facing Hikuleo, Femi would state that the former NJPW Strong Openweight Champion could appear whenever he’s ready, stating:
“I already said it’s left for them to step up, but I can tell you what we have in store.
I know Hikuleo is in the woodworks right now, he can come out whenever he is ready.”
Hikuleo wouldn’t be the only Bloodline family member to be mentioned by Femi, who went on to name Lance Anoa’i, saying:
“Lance Anoa’i is also in the woodworks right now. Whenever they’re ready.”
Femi would reiterate that he’s not dropping anything about when both men could debut and in what capacity, noting:
“I’m not dropping anything, I’m just telling you the potential. I’ve cleared everybody. Who’s the biggest star in NXT? Some people will say Trick, I think it’s me. Some people will say Trick Williams, I cleared him. Twice. There’s nobody left.
“So, I’m just telling you what we have in the woodworks, in the closet. If it comes out, it comes out. If it doesn’t, it doesn’t. I’m just telling you what’s in the woodwork.”
Lance Anoa’i signed with WWE in the summer of 2024, but was sidelined through an injury and is also still yet to debut.
To see where Lance Anoa’i and Hikuleo fit into the Bloodline family tree, WrestleTalk has a breakdown right here.
