Following her injury suffered earlier this week, a new report has revealed that WWE officials were “impressed” by new signing Giulia.
At NXT Stand & Deliver 2024, former World of Stardom Champion Giulia appeared in the front row alongside Rossy Ogawa and William Regal to indicate she had signed with the company.
Since then, the former NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion has appeared for Pro Wrestling NOAH and on the inaugural show for the new Marigold promotion.
Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update, noting that Giulia was described as being polite and outgoing to NXT talent and higher ups alike during her backstage visits to WWE during WrestleMania weekend.
It was also noted that the former STARDOM talent had a lengthy conversation with Shawn Michaels at NXT Stand And Deliver.
In asking about Giulia’s English skills, “the language barrier” is not as big of an issue as prior to Triple H taking over WWE creative.
The report notes that WWE remains impressed by Giulia’s commitment to learning the English language to help her transition to the company.
Giulia will be out “indefinitely” after suffering a fractured wrist injury at the first Marigold event on May 20, which you can read here.
