WWE star Omos has commented on Vince McMahon’s WWE departure, explaining how things have changed under the Triple H regime.
Omos received a considerable push during the Vince McMahon era of WWE. After a Raw Tag Team Title reign alongside AJ Styles in 2021, Omos turned on Styles that December before officially joining the singles division.
Following Vince McMahon’s retirement amid ‘hush pact’ allegations, and Triple H taking over creative, it was reported that some ‘Vince McMahon guys’ were concerned about their spots.
It had been speculated that Omos was one of these ‘guys’, with some believing that the seven-foot star would be featured on TV less under Triple H.
Speaking on Say Less, Omos praised Triple H for being one of the boys. He admitted that it feels odd not having Vince McMahon backstage, noting that Triple H is very hands-on with creative.
Discussing the management change, Omos said:
“It’s weird. Not seeing the old man (Vince McMahon) every day because the last two years I was on, I saw him every day, and now Hunter is there.
“Hunter is one of us. He’s one of the boys. A lot of us have that trust because he has similar experiences as us. We trust him. It’s been a lot more laid back. He’s very involved. He’s down at rehearsals, working with talent, he’s very hands-on.”
Omos most recently wrestled during the September 12 edition of Raw, winning a two-on-one handicap match.
