Former WWE NXT Champion Oney Lorcan (Biff Busick) has noted that he’s unsure whether or not he will return to the ring.
Lorcan returned to WWE as a Performance Center coach in October 2022, under the Triple H regime. He was let go under the previous regime in November 2021, after six years wrestling on the NXT brand.
While Lorcan returned to the independent scene following his previous WWE release, he hasn’t wrestled since returning to the Performance Center.
Reflecting on his 2022, Lorcan took to Twitter to note that he’s happy with his current role backstage with NXT.
Uncertain on whether he has stepped away from the ring for good, Lorcan wrote:
In 2022, I stepped away from performing in the ring. I’m not sure if I’ve had my last match, but if I have, I had a blast. Thank you to anyone I got to share a ring with.
Thank you to all the fans. I’m really looking forward to working with @WWENXT in 2023.
Happy New Year!!!
Lorcan last wrestled in June 2022 during the Beyond Wrestling Vs. Wrestling Open event.
His former tag partner Danny Burch (Martin Stone) recently announced his in-ring return.
