An update on a WWE star’s ongoing absence has been revealed, noting their absence from the internal roster.
Alpha Academy leader Otis hasn’t been seen in the ring since his loss to Rusev on May 5, in the Bulgarian brute’s first match since his return on the Raw after WrestleMania 41.
It has now been revealed that Otis’ name is absent from the internal roster that WWE use to assess availability for weekly television.
According to a recent WrestleVotes Q&A, Otis isn’t on the internal roster of available stars, indicating that he’s listed as unavailable, although the reason is not clear at the time of writing.
WrestleVotes stated that Otis is believed to be “out of action”, though weren’t sure as to the cause, stating:
“I believe he’s out of action, don’t know if it’s an injury or personal reasons.
“You know, we speak about this roster that shows up. Otis is currently not on the roster, which means they’re not available. For whatever reason, personal or injury, I don’t know, I don’t wanna speculate.
“However, they’re just not available for weekly TV at the moment.”
While WWE fans await the return of Otis, his fellow Alpha Academy teammate Maxxine Dupri has formed a tag team with Natalya, with their name being confirmed as ‘Dungeon Dolls‘.
WrestleTalk will provide further details on Otis’ absence as they emerge, and fans can follow the news here.
