WWE Fans Outraged At WrestleMania 39 Match WWE

WWE fans have taken to social media to criticise a match-up teased for WrestleMania 39, ahead of next week’s edition of Raw.

There are several potential opponents lined up for Brock Lesnar at the April event.

One more emerged on this Monday’s (February 20) show, with Omos issuing a challenge to Lesnar for WrestleMania.

Omos invited The Beast to show up on next week’s show to accept his challenge. WWE has now advertised this segment on Twitter, heavily hinting that Lesnar and Omos will face off at the Show of Shows.

Many fans have bashed the segment announcement, with numerous Twitter users replying ‘no’ when WWE shared a post questioning whether or not Lesnar will show up next Monday.

Several fans also speculated that Vince McMahon must have some involvement with creative plans for this match to be made.

It is worth noting that Lesnar vs Omos hasn’t officially been confirmed for WrestleMania 39, and many have pointed out that Omos may be a red herring to distract fans from Lesnar’s true opponent for the event, who could be revealed at a later date.

Lesnar last wrestled at the February 18 Elimination Chamber premium live event, losing to Bobby Lashley via disqualification after resorting to a low blow to escape from the Hurt Lock.

Bray Wyatt had previously teased that he’d target the winner of Lesnar vs Lashley, but with such a controversial finish, fans believe that neither competitor is safe from Wyatt.

There had also previously been rumors that Lesnar would face WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER at WrestleMania 39.

Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes will headline WrestleMania 39 against Roman Reigns, with the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship on the line.
