Saraya – formerly WWE’s Paige – has commented on a potential reunion with former three-time Divas Champion AJ Lee.
Having confirmed her departure from AEW in March 2025, Saraya’s future direction is very much in her own hands, having left with “no bad blood” between parties.
While Saraya may be taking time away from the ring, she has recently spoken about a potential reunion with AJ Lee, with the pair having been ‘best friends’ on WWE TV during 2014.
During a recent appearance on Women’s Wrestling Talk, Saraya would open up about the women who she would like to work with.
Naming AEW’s Mercedes Mone and WWE’s Rhea Ripley among potentials, she would also pitch the possibility of a reunion with AJ Lee, saying:
“First of all, it would be Mercedes, of course. I feel like that’s a built-in story. We need that to happen at some point in our careers. I think that’d be really great.
“Then I would love to face Rhea or be in a tag with Rhea, I feel like. The first goth going against the the modern goth, you know, it’d be really great.
“I would love to tag with AJ again down the road. I feel like that would be amazing.
“There’s a lot of people I want to wrestle. Like, there’s no one in particular I’m like, I have to do this. I have to. Because I just want to wrestle everybody.
“I want to, like, bring it back with Nattie, Nikki. Like, I want to wrestle Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair, Trinity. Like, there’s just so many people I want to wrestle.”
A possible match with Mone isn’t out of the realms of possibility, with Saraya recently confirming the door was left open to an AEW return.
She has also previously stated that she would be happy to return to the Triple H-led company under the “Paige” name.
Liv Morgan has recently pitched the idea of an intergender match that would see her team with Dominik Mysterio against CM Punk and AJ Lee.
