An update has emerged on WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Jade Cargill, who has now signed to an outside organisation.
A number of WWE stars have signed with Paradigm Talent Agency over the past year, with likes of CM Punk and Tiffany Stratton recently highlighted as Paradigm talent.
Variety have exclusively reported that Jade Cargill has now signed with The Sports Group, Paradigm’s new sports division.
Cargill is the first WWE star revealed to be a new signing following the creation of The Sports Group, with this new division announced on November 13 and described by Deadline as “a dedicated, all-encompassing division established to represent a roster of elite athletes and iconic teams.”
Deadline’s original report stated that The Sports Group will help to “mine best-in-class opportunities” for clients, with examples given including helping athletes transition from sports to the entertainment industry, and helping to develop brand partnerships.
A number of WWE stars were named as part of the client roster for the Sports Group, with it noted that 10 more WWE stars not named in the article were also involved with the agency.
Natalya, Tiffany Stratton and Montez Ford will be featured in upcoming projects dealt with by the Sports Group’s publishing division.
