WWE To Partner With More Promotions WWE

WWE is looking to continue for global partnerships with other promotions, with a new report noting specific regions.

In a report from LuchaLibreOnline, WWE is looking to establish agreements with companies in Mexico and Puerto Rico.

The report reads (automatically translated) –

“EXCLUSIVE: WWE has established alliances in Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States with top professional wrestling companies.

“Lucha Libre Online can confirm that WWE is looking to establish alliances or agreements with companies in both Puerto Rico and Mexico. The company has knocked on the door in both countries very recently with the intention of creating a partnership, similar to what they did with companies like TNA, Pro Wrestling Noah and MariGold.

“If it comes to fruition, it would be HUGE for the company from Puerto Rico and Mexico that WWE selects.”

WWE has been cultivating partnerships more than ever before as recent times have seen an influx of interest over the crossovers, mostly with TNA Wrestling.

Also confirmed over the weekend, AJ Styles will make an appearance at NOAH taking on Naomichi Marufuji on their July 13 show after Shinsuke Nakamura previously competed in the promotion last year.

IYO SKY is also set for an appearance in another recent collaborator, Marigold, as the newly launched company helmed by Rossy Ogawa builds traction.

NXT’s Charlie Dempsey has had matches for AJPW and GCW this year, with Shayna Basler also having wrestled at GCW Bloodsport.

The former WWE Women’s Champion will face Utami Hayashishita at Marigold Summer Destiny at the Ryogoku Kokugikan.
