The match order for tonight’s WWE Payback premium live event has been revealed.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), the show will open with the Steel Cage match between Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus, and be main evented by Seth Rollins vs Shinsuke Nakamura.
The complete order for the show is as followed:
– Cage match: Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus (producer Petey Williams)
– John Cena promo
– LA Knight vs. The Miz (producer Shane Helms)
– United States Title: Rey Mysterio (c) vs. Austin Theory (producer Adam Pearce)
– Tag Team Titles: Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn (c) vs. Judgment Day (producer Michael Hayes)
– Grayson Waller Effect with Cody Rhodes (producer Shawn Daivari)
– Women’s World Title: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Raquel Rodriguez (producer Jason Jordan)
– World Heavyweight Title: Seth Rollins (c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura (producer Jamie Noble)
WWE has now announced that John Cena will serve as the special referee for the LA Knight vs The Miz match.
The Rollins vs Nakamura match is reportedly slated for the most time, with Knight vs Miz and Mysterio vs Theory slated for the least.
Rey Mysterio’s name also interestingly had question marks surrounding it on the internal listing.
