Ahead of WrestleMania 41 in April 2025, WWE have ‘big plans’ for Penta that will start with the upcoming Royal Rumble.
With two victories under the former AEW star’s belt, Penta came face-to-face with WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker in a backstage segment on the January 27 episode of Raw, as can be seen below this news story.
With Breakker and Penta both announced for the Men’s Royal Rumble match on February 1, the pair could, indeed, face off, albeit not in a singles match.
WWE have ‘big plans’ for Penta in the Royal Rumble, however, according to Dr. Chris Featherstone of Sportskeeda Wrestling.
Featherstone’s sources have revealed that the ‘big plans’ will take the star all the way up to WWE WrestleMania 41 on April 19, 2025.
The plans kick into gear at the February 1 WWE Royal Rumble with “an impressive performance currently scheduled to occur” for the former AEW World Tag Team Champion.
Penta made his WWE debut on January 13, picking up a victory over Chad Gable with his next match seeing him victorious over Pete Dunne.
Footage recently emerged from the January 13 episode of Raw showing Triple H walking Penta through what would become his entrance.
In the wake of Penta’s arrival, it has been reported that several AEW talents are now “more willing” to look at a move to WWE.
