Report: Vince McMahon Angry With WWE Talent

It has been pointed out by many that Charly Caruso has been absent from WWE programming of late. Now, we know why that is.

A new report from Fightful Select (subscription required) has stated that she has backstage heat after consistently being late to conduct interviews for television. This was said to have rubbed people the wrong way with specific instances occurring with Randy Orton and Sheamus. Word reportedly got back to higher-ups and she was taken off television as a result.

Though it is currently unconfirmed, the belief backstage is that her WWE contract is set to expire soon. There is no word on what her future with the company will be.

Fightful also reported that Vince McMahon took exception to Caruso being late. However, another of their sources said that she could be brought back into the fold should another interviewer become unavailable. At the same time, the same source said the introduction of Kevin Patrick has been seen as her replacement.

Charly Caruso has been an on-screen personality since her first appearance in early 2016. She began in NXT before making her way to the main roster.
