Former WWE Star Announces Return To Wrestling WWE

A former WWE star has revealed that they will shortly be returning to the ring after a period away from the wrestling world.

Cassie Lee, the former Peyton Royce, confirmed the news of a return to action on social media after World Series Wrestling announced her appearance.

Lee was one half of The Iiconics in WWE, with the pair making their WWE tag team debut in May 2015 and remaining with the company until their release in April 2021.

In October 2021, they would reform as IInspiration in IMPACT Wrestling and remain with the company until April 2022 when the pair would announce they would be “indefinitely stepping away from in-ring action.

Billie Kay has recently discussed a potential return to wrestling but noted that she’s focusing on her acting career.

Lee, however, is set to return at World Series Wrestling in Australia during October 2023.

Lee would tweet a reply of “let’s grapple” along with a “I’m back in the game” GIF to support her message.

The former Billie Kay would also add her support with a message of “my girl” from her Twitter account under her name Jessica McKay.

World Series Wrestling Full Throttle takes place across Australia between October 6 and October 13 and features a stacked roster led by faces familiar to WWE, AEW and IMPACT Wrestling fans.

IMPACT Wrestling recently announced a tour of Australia that will see two shows held on June 30 and July 1 in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales.

This announcement came after news that NJPW’s Oceania Cup planned four-day tour had been postponed due to scheduling and talent availability.

On Sunday, June 25, NJPW and AEW once again join forces for the second Forbidden Door PPV.
