WWE Planning To Put ‘A Lot Of Spotlight’ On SmackDown Star

WWE are reportedly planning to put a “lot of spotlight” on a new member of the SmackDown roster.

After arriving in WWE via NXT in September 2024, it took Giulia very little time to rise to the top of the brand, winning the NXT Women’s Championship just four months later at WWE New Year’s Evil.

While her time as champion clocked in at just 63 days, Giulia was then officially drafted to WWE’s main roster just two months after dropping the title – with Nick Aldis signing her to the SmackDown brand.

With “The Beautiful Madness” recently being among the six women to compete in the Money in the Bank ladder match, PWInsider Elite has shared details regarding the company’s plans for her in the near future.

According to the report, the belief among talents in WWE is that Giulia will be “getting a lot of spotlight” in the coming weeks on SmackDown.

While no specifics were mentioned in the report, WWE has recently been teasing a program between Giulia and Women’s United States Champion Zelina Vega – with Vega demanding a match with the Japanese star after Giulia laid her out on the June 6 episode of SmackDown.

Despite this, no match between Vega and Giulia has been announced as of yet.
