As we saw from this past weekend’s WrestleMania 37 show, having fans back in attendance makes a huge difference to how entertaining a wrestling show is.
There are no firm plans to have fans at another show, but a lot of people assume plans are being made to do something similar for SummerSlam in August.
Speaking to Variety, WWE President Nick Khan revealed that while there are no firm plans to return to the road, once they are back on the road, it will be full-time, presumably meaning the resumption of WWE Live events.
“Any plans? Yes. Any plans we can share? Stay tuned. But just know that once we’re back on the road, we’re on the road full time. We’re not looking to do other one offs. Again, this was WrestleMania. And we felt it needed to be done for the fans. So look for news coming soon.”
There was speculation that WWE may never return to a live event schedule, but Khan seems to be saying that’s what the plan is right now.
We’ll keep you updated with any further updates regarding WWE’s future schedule.
