Potential plans for the upcoming New Day 10-year anniversary celebration planned for WWE Raw have been revealed.
On WWE television in recent weeks, a potential New Day break up has been playing out, with Xavier Woods showing frustrations towards Kofi Kingston following a series of recent defeats.
It was recently announced that an upcoming New Day 10-year anniversary celebration would be taking place, with WWE reportedly already filming content for the celebration.
Speaking to TV Insider, Xavier Woods was asked about the upcoming celebration, claiming that it will be a ‘party’ on the show.
He said:
We did film a bunch of stuff going through our historical things the past 10 years. It’s going to be a party. It’s going to be a huge party on Raw because that’s what we have done at WWE. Lots of people have forgotten wrestling is supposed to be fun. That’s why we came into the picture to remind everyone.
Yes, you can be so angry or sad and feel these emotions from the show. At the same time, don’t forget the most important one: You’re supposed to be having fun. That’s what the celebration will be. It’s going to be a good time and a reminder that wrestling is supposed to be fun.
Woods also discussed the ongoing tensions with Kofi Kingston during the interview, which you can see here.
