Following the November 6 episode of WWE NXT, a WWE premium live event and gimmick match are officially confirmed to be returning.
On the November 6 edition of WWE NXT from the 2300 Arena, General Manager Ava announced that the brand will return on the road for NXT Deadline on Saturday, December 7 from The Armory in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
With the return of Deadline, the Iron Survivor Challenge will make its return as well with both the men and women competing for a future shot at the NXT Championship and NXT Women’s Championship.
The Iron Survivor Challenge is a 25-minute match that features five competitors, starting with two wrestlers and a new star enters every five minutes.
The winner being decided by whoever has the most points before the time expires. Points are earned by pinfall, submission or being the victim of a disqualification, while a competitor who is pinned, submitted and disqualified will have to spend 90 seconds in a penalty box.
The men’s and women’s qualifying matches will begin on the November 12 episode of WWE NXT.
It remains to be seen who will compete in these first qualifiers at the time of this writing.
